Find answers to common questions about watch customization and the ordering process.
Many of our customers are looking to create a richer, higher-end look to their watch. For example, a watch may be delivered in stainless steel, but you would like it to appear to be gold or platinum. We're able to create that look for you. In a similar situation, you may have a watch that is already plated (or PVD coated), and you want to improve it's appearance. This is where custom plating comes into play!
It's easy! Click on "Request Plating" in the top menu, and let us know what watch you have, what factory or manufacturer it's from, and choose your options. We highly recommend upgrading to include our special cataphoretic ceramic nano coating, as it will greatly increase the longevity of your plating.
Usually we can turn a basic plating request around within seven days of receiving the watch. Additional custom work, including mini-service, water resistance testing, dial swap, etc. can increase that timeline. We will keep you in the loop at each step of the process.
Due to the personalized nature of custom watches, we are unable to accept returns. However, if there is a manufacturing defect or issue with your watch, please contact our customer support for assistance. Movement failures, which can occasionally happen, will be handled on a per-case basis.
For services (including plating, water resistance testing, mini services, etc.) and parts/supplies we accept all major credit cards. For custom and vintage builds we only accept direct payment via Venmo, Zelle, Paypal FNF, or wire transfer.
